We've seen wine corks used for numerous things; filling up a glass vase, making use of a frame to create a cork board and even grinding them up and use the lot as mulch. But we never thought we'd see (or be impressed) with bottle caps used in everyday home decor.
It took Michelle almost all summer to collect her batch of bottle caps--but we think it was well worth the wait. A quick spray paint of her favorite colors; and a very interesting design trio was born. And even though Michelle found the perfect tray to make-over, make sure yours is deep enough to contain what she calls "acrylic water" to set the bottle caps. We are excited to start our own bottle cap tray but will probably create a new color combo of black and kelly green.

Howard Butcher Bloc...
Bert from Bert & Ernie would be all over that!
Cute...but looks like a hassle to clean when spills and tidbits get stuck between the bottle caps.
disregard...saw teh "acrylic water". Smart.
love this!
Very cute!
"Spilling liquids would be somethat that happens but cleanup won't be easy"
that is what the "acrylic water" is for. cute idea!!
Wow. I really want to do a project like this... I just don't go through that many bottles with caps... Super-Cool, though.
That is a great idea! I have one bed tray and is gathering dust. I am inspired by this idea and will make use of the tray now!
This is so fun!! Where did you find the tray?
