Q: My boyfriend and I recently moved into the top floor of a beautiful brownstone in Brooklyn. Our bedroom has a big closet by NYC standards, but we can't figure out how to make the most of it.
To the left and right of the door, the closet extends another two feet back. And above the door? Another foot or two. How can we best make use of all the dead space that is hard to get to when anything is in the middle of the closet? And since we have no dresser, how do we best keep lots of rail space, but add shelving for two guys with a lot of clothes?
