With the long weekend behind us, hopefully some of the projects you wanted to accomplish have been crossed off the list. Poring through magazines and blogs we have a million and one projects that we'd love to accomplish but don't really have a system for keeping track of them. We were tempted by this journal, but how do you keep track of yours?

i make lots of lists on papers and write my big ideas in my journal... however i keep a running list of things to do or try in my apartment on my iPod Touch
An excerpt from the middle of the pack:

i also keep running lists on there for specific stores.... ikea, target, etc... and things to search on craigslist and ebay...
i use google notebook to keep track of tutorials and how-tos that i run into online -- buying lists i keep track of with Remember The Milk. Google Notebook has a plugin that works in firefox so you can clip the page you are currently on and then tag it with whatever you want.
I keep a list in a notebook.
The list contains purchases and tasks. I cross them off as I go. As soon as I've crossed off about 3/4 of the list (or it's become cluttered with weekly shopping list items) I start a new list, carrying over undone items.
I used to keep a list of major projects/purchases taped up inside in my tool cabinet, but since that list has gone from about 100 items (5 years ago) to about 5 items, I can carry that wish list in my head (new kitchen counters, remove wallpaper and paint laundry room, paint downstairs hall, update shelving in sewing room).
Three letters: GTD. Personally, I use OmniFocus, but all you really need is some paper and folders. I have everything there, from diorama ideas to Cure steps.

OmniFocus here. I love it so, so much.
I use notes in outlook for the projects and fix-it items and then keep a binder with clippings and ideas.
I keep a numbered list on my work computer, with a shopping list below that, that I can strikeout when need be - so I can see that yes, I did in fact buy ModgePodge though I can't find it on my shelf (so look harder). I print it out when I need it.
I also started keeping a shopping list in my phone's To Do feature for things that occur to me at night, on the go, etc. Toothpicks, eye droppers, "take rice upstairs." I also have longer ideas listed in there under separate entries of long term projects, but not a whole lot.
