We talk often about how color has a huge impact on our spaces...cool hues are supposed to relax. Warm shades supposedly amp up the energy in a space. Boring rooms are made better (so we hear) from a healthy dose of bold color. But we're curious...how has color changed your home for the better?
I still remember the first bold wall paint color I ever used, in one of my first apartments. It was a blah boring studio without a lot of light but with a lot of beige. I didn't even try to brighten or lighten it up; I chose a dark, dramatic red orange, and it warmed the whole space up. It made a boring studio feel like a rich, cozy retreat. I've been hooked on color's transforming powers ever since.
