How do You Measure Up?

Me? I'm living in Georgia, where the average electronics monthly budget is just shy of $40.

I probably don't spend $40 each and every month on gadgets and gear. But when you consider the figure annually, at $480 per year rather than $40 per month, I can see I'm on the top end of the spectrum. Last year, I spent well over $1000 personally, thanks to a few big splurges on a laptop, gaming system and DSLR camera.

How do you compare to your state? The nation? Do you spend tech money on a monthly basis, or spread out over the year like me? Tell us in the comments!
