birthday-loot-bags-1.jpgYou know how birthdays always seem to travel in packs? We're about to head into a major birthday season, so our head is aswim with party ideas. One of our favorite party projects is planning the loot bags, so Lisa's recent post on her blog Picnic caught our eye. She shows three great ideas, ranging from easy to slightly more challenging. We love the simplicity of the button-adorned paper bags pictured above. See below the jump for Lisa's other suggestions.

birthday-loot-bags-3.jpgThese handmade drawstring bags are absolutely adorable and 100% reusable. You can customize the fabric to make anything from dainty purses to pirate bags o' booty.

birthday-loot-bags-2.jpgIf you're strapped for time -- or just not that into sewing -- Lisa recommends these awesome little galvanized steel buckets. They're inexpensive (which we like) and they can be repurposed in a thousand ways by the recipient (which we really like).
