With summer just days away (officially, anyway), all I can think about are long, warm, relaxing naps on my imaginary sleeping porch. If you're lucky enough to have a porch, why not try your hand at building your own hanging daybed?

Over on The Apron, the home improvement blog from Home Depot, it takes about 8 hours and $350 to construct a twin-size hanging bed. If you've got an open rafter ceiling and some decent woodworking skills, this would be the ultimate weekend project!
