Microfiber sofas are soft and snuggy and while they are stain-resistant, they're not impervious to the grime that children and pets can inflict on them. Thanks to a few brave couch owners willing to put some ideas to the test, now you can clean the kids out of your sofa instead of banishing it to the playroom or basement for life.

After!

We stopped in at Imperfect Homemaking where Kelly followed the lead of the folks at Chris and Robin's Nest. They both had microfiber sofas that had seen better days, from either pets or kids and needed some attention.

The key is to use rubbing alcohol and a strong sponge. Although scrubbing your sofa takes a bit of elbow grease, they're not inexpensive pieces of furniture and if a good clean can add years to their life, then by golly, bring on the Hulu and a sponge!

Check out all the results from both Imperfect Homemaking and Chris and Robin's Nest and Robin has all the details for how you can get the job done.
