Q: Our next baby's "nursery" will be blended into our own master bedroom. I am considering partitioning off the crib with ceiling-to-floor, room-dividing blackout curtains, and am in search of both photos of similar arrangements and tips for doing so successfully. Of particular concern is how far the curtains should be from the crib for safety considerations, and exactly how to hang them in a way that will be especially quiet when opened and closed. -Sent by Melodie
Editor: I am a big fan of creating rooms within rooms- my last bedroom was in my kitchen, for crying out loud! Melodie's plan is a much better one, and I'd love for it to work out swimmingly for her (and the baby). Anybody have any experience creating a nursery inside a larger room? How did you do it, and what insight do you have for Melodie? Thanks!
