How To Create Your Own Phaser Alarm Clock

Back in the day, were you a Nintendo or a Sega fan? Choose your classic gaming gun and get to work on modding a digital alarm clock. With this project you can celebrate retro gaming and create a unique gift just right for someone who still thinks Duck Hunt might be the pinnacle of shooting games.

Possibly inspired by the Gun Alarm Clock above, Instructables user Kipkay created his own version using a modified classic Sega Light Phaser.

Like the DIY inspiration above from Make, one of the key components of this project is the retro gaming gun. In addition to the retro gaming gun, you will also need a digital alarm clock, a digital toy that has some cool sound effects, and a battery holder for whatever size batteries the toy takes.
