The computer is quickly challenging the TV as the ultimate media distraction in our homes. We're always attached to it, and the laptop makes it just that much easier to allow the computer to follow us wherever we go. So, when we saw 43 Folders' post entitled "How To Divorce Your Laptop," we chuckled, but quickly took note of some wise (albeit obvious) tips to remind ourselves of from time to time. Our favorite tip, institute a laptop curfew. That is, an hour at night when you no longer allow yourself access to the computer, no exceptions. Do you have a time in your home when the laptop (or computer) goes to bed and your household becomes an internet-free zone?
