These bibs caught our eye when we were reading Jennifer's blog, The Felt Mouse, because we have this same set of inexpensive, utilitarian bibs from Ikea. After a year of use, however, ours are food-stained and have seen better days. We love her idea of jazzing them up with some fabric markers to decorate a new set or, in our case, camouflage stains on an old set. And, she has a second no-sew embellishment idea for these bibs after the jump...

In this set, she's cut shapes from felt (which doesn't fray, but will shrink so you may want to wash yours first) and applied them to the bibs with fabric glue. This set was for a friend so she hasn't been able to test the durability of the design yet, but it makes for a really cute, easy, personal gift.

You can find Jennifer's post about her fabric marker bibs at her blog, The Felt Mouse, where she writes about her adorable son Hank and her crafty endeavors. (She also has an Etsy shop of the same name.)
