Last week we revisited Jane Schouten's Wall Collection Christmas Tree. Many of you were curious where she got the chair that was prominently featured in the photograph. Ask and you shall receive! Here is her tutorial on her chair re-upholstry project. She started with a vintage Pierre Paulin Oyster Chair, but you can re-upholster any chair or ottoman that you find interesting.
The instructions on how to create this amazing chair were found over at Design Sponge. Here is what you need: -a chair, an ottoman or anything else you want to re-upholster (for those with less upholstery experience we’d suggest something small like a stool or ottoman) -vintage blankets or fabric (those with a quilted or thicker texture work best) -scissors -pins -power stapler (optional, but very helpful) -flowers or other interesting objects cut out of fabric -crocheted flowers -embroidery thread and needle
