This story reminded us a lot of the Janssen Family's Roving Abode. We love learning how people pare down to maintain their nomadic lifestyles. RV resident Louise Horner recently gave Unclutterer her tips for living in 300 square feet, and most of them are applicable to just about anyone who needs to save space...
A few of Louise's space-saving suggestions:
• Go paperless.
• Use a laptop instead of desktop to save surface space.
• Simplify your design scheme to reduce visual clutter.
• Get attractive storage for the items you use regularly.
• Invest in double-duty pieces.
• Live with less stuff.
To find out how Louise and her husband get by in such a small space with one dog, two cats, and four fish, read her story on Unclutterer.

Hee, hee...love the track lighting!!! Love the whole RV, too!
still bigger than my apartment.
i LOVE the metal tray spice rack- such a great idea i'm doing that in my apartment! anyone know where i can find an metal tray??
Don't rush on the spice rack metal tray idea, it dries out the herbs and makes them stalle much faster. Light is the enemy of herbs.
When I was a kid, I dreamed of taking a vacation in an RV! Never had the chance, but a girl can dream...
Read the review of a new film that opened Friday in NYC (though haven't seen the film yet) called SURFWISE. Family with 9 kids, home-schooled and raised in a 29-foot-long camper!
It also helps saving space by getting rid of one dog, two cats, and four fish.
