How to Make a Doodle Artwork Tea Towel

Terrasavvy

In the never-ending quest to find ways to preserve the kids' artworks, I stumbled upon this tutorial on how to transfer one of these doodles onto a tea towel.

All you need besides household items already in the kitchen are freezer paper and fabric paint. The beautiful thing about this is that it can be a fulfilling project for the kids to make and be proud to see it around the house. I know my kids are really proud when things they made are being used and are practical.

I love the simple gold onto white as in the post on Terrasavvy, but I can also imagine my offspring choosing some really flashy colors to complement their explosive minds.
