Whether you're sharing a bedroom with your baby, want to give kids in a shared room a little privacy or have a loft or railroad-style apartment without doors or walls, you may be looking for a room divider. You can buy one (with lots of choices below $100) or you could make one in whatever fabric fits your fancy.
Using plumber's pipe and guided by a tutorial for building a rolling coat rack featured on Design*Sponge, Jutta and Panu built this colorful fabric screen for their living room. Visit Jutta's blog, Kootut Murut, for details on making your own and photos of the process.

White Enamel Four-P...
Yeehaw! I've been trying to figure out a way to hang drapes at our lake house. I have the yardage but didn't want to mess with a huge wall of heavy drapes. I wanted a simple way to layer/stack the drapes so I could slide them to different positions, but we're talking about a LOT of heavy fabric and a LOT of mileage. Your roll-away contraption will work perfectly and will use less yardage. We can also roll them around for areas of privacy during our annual reunions. Thanks!
