Found on Photojojo, this struck us as a concept that could be applied to multiple projects: calendars, nursery alphabets, and just about anything you could think to make from a photo grid. It's a simple process that requires only a camera and a couple of other tools...

DIYer Sandy Weisz searched the streets for 31 numbers, capturing them with his digital camera. After printing the photos on matte inkjet paper, Sandy pieced together this calendar with Fotoclips, clear plastic fasteners sold for $10 per box of 100 clips. For the step-by-step DIY instructions (including tips on reconfiguring the calendar numbers each month), click here.

This is BRILLIANT.
supercute.
Love it as alphabet nurser art.
I so want to do this
And if you're like me and cannot stand to wait for shipping, you can get Photo Clips at Urban Outfitters. (Even though I adore Photojojo.)
we do this as a history of graphic design project. each student is responsible for a certain number of squares (snapshots/crops of graphic examples)... it makes for a nice collage.
"Spell with Flickr" would come in handy for this project.

Wow this is one of the coolest calender ideas ever! I'm trying this as soon as I can find me some photo clips!!! xD
You could make a version of this that can actually change using CollageWall. The pictures are infinitely rearrangeable and always aligned in a grid.
Make it with CollageWall.
