After six months of breastmilk and 8 months of formula, we're moving on to cow's milk in our house which seems like a bit of a milestone. We are on our very last container of formula and we can't think of a better use for it than this cute and simple kid's bank (to keep all the money we'll save not buying formula!). You can use any kind of can of course - read on for more details.

This project is Jackie's of Avocado & Papaya (remember her beautifully colorful home?) who made this for her son, Graham. She covered her container with a map from an atlas so there's no need to go out and buy fancy paper (unless you're looking for an excuse to in which case go right ahead). How about pages from a field guide like Karen's birdhouses? Or some of your kids' art?

Follow the link to Avocado & Papaya for her easy tutorial and look around - Jackie's always cooking up neat crafts and doing fun things with her boys.
