How To: Make a Snow Candle

We still have a lot of snow on the ground from the big snowstorm over the holiday. And even though the season's decorations are coming down, this snow candle project is perfect for visually warming a snowy outdoor space:

Root a tapered candle in the snow and surround it with a circle of 2" snowballs. Build up layers of smaller and smaller circles until you've built a dome. The candle will illuminate the "igloo" and burn for hours. We can't wait to try this at our home.

Apparently, this is a favorite wintertime activity for children in Sweden. See the full how-to at GRYNX.
