We've had a folding drying rack for a few years, and it's falling apart. Somewhere down the line it lost a few screws, and it's really wobbly now. Hang too many clothes on it and it topples over! So we like this suggestion for installing a wall-mounted clothes rack, courtesy of Chez Larsson. It's also a great way to make use of an awkward corner, or a bit of empty space that doesn't fit any furniture.

The construction looks really simple, and the only materials you need are a pair or wooden planks, a bunch of eye hooks, and a long washing line. Head on over to Chez Larsson to get the full tutorial.
