Could these candle sconces be any more romantic? Point Click Home editor Anne E. Collins posted them this weekend, and we couldn’t resist passing along the project just in time for Valentine’s Day. More photos after the jump…
This actually seems like a fairly simple endeavor for those with the proper tools. Anne and her husband took a hacksaw to a candelabra, separating one of its arms from the base (sounds gruesome, but not too difficult!). Then they connected the arm to their plate by drilling a hole through both and using a screw, two washers, and a cap nut to finish it off.
Anne has posted some helpful photos and more detailed instructions on the Design Daily blog at Point Click Home. Jamali Gardens is her go-to source for affordable materials for this project; you could also certainly find some workable candelabras and plates at flea markets and thrift stores.
Enjoy your mood lighting!
