We're always game for inexpensive framing ideas, and free framing ideas? Well, that's all the better. Gather up a cardboard box along with any photos that are collecting dust and give this simple project a try...
We also like the thought of using these frames for holiday decor - you could cut out holiday shapes for the frame (or not, either way) and string them together around the tree, mantle, or anywhere really. You can even glue some wrapping paper over the cardboard for a little festive boost.

hmmm... not so sure about this... maybe if the cardboard has some interesting print on it, it could be ok... but the two examples shown above don't look very pleasing to me...

Cute for a kid's room.
I think they could be adorable for temporary or less "formal" use (in an office, a child's room, or holiday displays). I love seeing maps get re-purposed.
Mr. Dangerous- it's what I thought too but like the other said cute for a lilttle while Like a kids party!
I think this is a really cool idea, especially with the holidays and the massive amount of boxes that are sure to pile up. I have a 6-year old artist who has a new master piece almost everyday. This is a great way to display her art and practice recyling. I would probably put some magenet strips on the back to be able to use on the fridge :)
