This is admittedly a pretty budget looking solution. But as both a contact lens wearer (-5.50 baby!) and someone who loses their earphone buds every 6 or so months, we're partial to this simple DIY creation posted over at Instructables by creator mowdish...
The solution is actually a perfect fit; our complaint is the execution is a bit rough, so we're wondering if a high speed drill would create a finer finish than the X-acto blade cut shown in the Instructables step-by-step. We have plenty of those darn plastic contact lenses cases to take a gander at our own version this weekend and will report if we make any noticeable aesthetic improvements to mowdish's idea.
