Ahh, finally a way to reuse those dry cleaner wire hangers — and we're not talking about jimmying car doors open here. We're talking reusing them as hangers, but prettier...
We love this DIY, because who doesn't have a few unwanted and unsightly wire hangers in their closet? Take some cool vintage fabric or even an unwearable piece of clothing and recover the hanger. Add a little bit of foam or batting at the top of the hanger to prevent "shoulder nipples" and you've got yourself a unique, good looking and free new hanger!
What you’ll need:
- wire hanger
- fabric measuring at least 14” by 9”
- scissors
- pins
- thread
- ruler
- scrap paper
- iron

I use my wire hangers to make small hoop house for my plants. Then I cover with plastic for seed germination or tulle to ward off bugs.
