Kids will love this project that involves tearing up paper, putting it in a blender, and making their very own sheets of paper.
Most of what you'll need for this project you'll already have: paper scraps, blender, dish towel, and a rolling pin. The only other important thing you'll need is a deckle: You can find this in a craft store, or make it using an aluminum screen stapled to a picture frame.
The process is basically making your pulp in the blender, putting it all in a big bin and resting the deckle in the bin until enough paper goes through the screen to create one sheet. From there it gets a little trickier and seems like it'd require a bit of patience to get the paper off of the screen.
But the results look really beautiful, especially with all of the add-ins: flowers, grass, fancy hole punches. We love the creativity involved with coming up with these additions..
