Any significant redesign of popular services like Facebook or Gmail is going to bring a percentage of naysayers hating change. The transformation requires the following steps, all which eliminate the more minimalist-open feel of the redesign:
- Change display density to Compact
- Change theme to High Contrast
- Set Importance markers to "No markers"
- Change Button labels to Text
- Disable "web clips"
