Personal schedules can get completely out of whack this time of year. Keep it all right in front of you with a giant Chalkboard Wall Calendar. Learn how to make the one pictured above here, from Martha Stewart...
All it takes is black and white chalkboard paint. Start with solid black and gradually lighten random squares by mixing in degrees of white. Even when you're not using the calendar, it makes for a bold, graphic accent wall.

That's snazzy. I only wish I had room in my apartment. As it is, I struggle to keep my drop down desk uncluttered enough to close at the end of each day - nothing worse than looking at my workspace while trying to have a relaxed dinner in the same room.
At the office, that would be a wonderful project to liven up the space. It definitely has more character than the standard office supply wall planner.
I guess they look nice but I doubt that it is actually practical. We live in a Blackberry and iPhone world and its just easier to schedule and be scheduled by others using electronic means...I suppose something like this could be useful to a stay at home parent to organize activities and such.
This looks like something which might work even better with Idea Paint ??
