A splash of hot pink can liven up a breakfast nook, a side table, or even a bare floor (hello, hot pink extension cord!) Toss some graphic pillows with a splash of hot pink onto a sofa, bed, or chair. Adorn the coffee table with a hot pink embossed candle.
Throw a hot pink wall clock onto a bare wall and feel the mood lift. Pick up some cutlery dipped in fuschia for a brighter meal.
Move over neutrals, the season of color is here.

when we moved in 4 years ago i was at a loss for a kitchen color scheme. kitchen has dark off white cabinets and grayish light green granite, and there are lots of bright green plants visible outside. got inspired by a plastic trout at a garage sale painted off white, green, pink and yellow! then i found a trout calendar!
anyway, i love the green with the hot pink and bright yellow and have found a number of items to use in the kitchen from elsewhere in our house, at yard sales and recently some hot pink mesh trash can and magazine holders at ikea.
Bright pink is one of my absolute favorite "pop" colors! My daughter's room is bright pink and navy blue (with lots of white) and it is my favorite room in the house.
Here is another item to add to your bright pink repertoire - this organic cotton throw (or travel blanket or baby blanket) is one of our favorite's at Ella Lou and on-season for this chilly fall weather: http://www.shopellalou.com/Ella-Lou-throw-Baby-Blanket-Herringbone-Pink-p/isttohel-pink.htm
