To me, being a mother is a constant learning experience. There is not one day where I don't learn to do or make something with the kids, to help the kids, to clean the kids, and so on and so forth. So when I stumble upon things I can learn easily, that makes my day. This is what happened the other day. I know I might be late to this party, but it was a complete surprise to me that making chalk was so easy. The thing is, the tutorial Ana Luisa at Babble Dabble Do put together is really well done, with lots of photos, so the kids were mostly doing it on their own.
With just a bit of plaster of paris and some tempera paint, this has got to be one of the easiest DIYs I have made with my kids so far!
It was a great weekend project, and I marvel everyday at the fact that it was so easy.
