Yesterday we had friends over to watch "the game" and we invited them to bring their kids. Since we didn't expect the kids to be able to sit still during the whole game, we set up our dining room table with things to keep them busy, including these eco-friendly and easy-to-whip-up finger paints.
What You Need
I part cornstarch
3 parts water
1. Boil water.
2. Dissolve cornstarch in a bit of water (it will be very thick and hard to stir).
3. Mix together cornstarch and hot water and bring the mixture back to a boil. Cook until it's thick and clear. Divide the mixture in small pots, bowls or muffin tins and stir in food coloring (we suggest doing this in the sink as food coloring tends to be very messy). Let cool before using.
