
This is a DIY project that makes craft paper look like distressed leather on your floors.
The instructions are given by The Budget Decorator and the project certainly can be done on a budget, requiring only brown paper and polyurethane. I would proceed with caution, maybe making a sample "floor" before jumping in.
The site says you can damp mop the surface to clean and that the flooring will last for years, but I'd test a sample first. I think this could definitely be used sucessfully on a wall surface. -regina

I can see a pop-ish "Trader Joes" - or even better - a "Piggly Wiggly" kitchen floor. Oh lawd.
my aunt did this on her walls and it looks really neat. i don't know about floors though...it just seems like it wouldn't hold up.
