I was wondering if you could provide some more information on how to plant succulents for an indoor garden. I'd love to make my own succulent gardens in some old vases I've collected, but my initial google search on the subject has revealed that I will need a special type of soil, and I imagine I should put some rocks on the bottom to drain. I live in NYC so I cannot quickly pop over to a local garden store.
I was hoping I could order all the appropriate materials online, so do you have a recommendation for a good site? I live in a small, low light apartment with a bad kitty, and my little succulents are the only things that have lasted! ...I'd really appreciate advice on how I can go about making some pretty little gardens without breaking the bank.
