Some of our favorite decor projects are those born of frugality. Reader Jaime spied some beautiful pompom trimmed curtains in a magazine, but when she tracked them down she discovered they cost $250. Not to be deterred, she decided to make her own.

PomPom fringe is available in many colors and adds a sweet touch to a basic curtain. Jaime aptly describes it as "girly without being frilly."
