How To Refinish Vintage Furniture
Metal Leg Caps?

Good Questions

Q: I have a penchant for snapping up mid-century furniture in need of a little love (as I'm sure many of you do). My question is, has anyone had any luck replacing or refinishing the little gold tips that are common on the wooden legs? They seem to get banged up, and gold leaf and/or spray paint just don't seem like it would give the right look. Any ideas or successes?
