How to: Reuse Magazine Scent Samples

We've always ripped out and saved those perfume and cologne sample pages from magazines to use in our closet and dresser drawers (we let them air out awhile to weaken the sometimes strong scent). But another idea is adding a single magazine scent sheet into your paper shredder; mix in one sheet for one whole bin and the scent should be fairly mild. Use the resulting shredded mix as a surprise scented packing paper for your next gift...

We do note that some people are highly allergic or sensitive to perfumes and colognes, so always make sure you're using these scented shredded paper packing with the right person in mind. Also, don't mix and match additional scent samples, even if you think they'd make a good combination, lest you end up with a headache causing mix. Just like when wearing a perfume or cologne, less is more, so lean toward the very mild.
