I came across this tutorial on covering a table with zinc, and I was amazed — I had heard of DIY metal countertops, but I hadn't considered covering a table! With a few tools that you'll probably have to pick up at the hardware store — unless you happen to have a soldering iron laying around — the task almost looks… dare I say — simple!
The folks over at VanHook & Co. first painted their kitchen set a bright, happy chalk paint red. Then they applied their sheet metal with some adhesive and prepared to secure it around the corners and underneath the tabletop. I was amazed at how they navigated the smooth, round corners; you'll have to go see the process, step by step, and marvel like I did at the end result!
