Q: The previous owner is leaving a four-piece, mahogany effect, melamine suite of bedroom furniture. We are grateful as it is in good condition and will be very useful, but it needs a serious overhaul. I've thought of grey, orange and white (or a combination of the three), removing the trims and replacing the handles.
I have ordered charcoal (almost black) carpet for the bedroom which will be fitted in a week. I bought bedding from IKEA which is white with a bold stag pattern (red, yellow and black). I am obsessed with the combination of dark grey and bright colours at the moment. I think we will keep the walls white and hang artwork. But I'm doubting myself. Any advice would be most welcome.
