This weekend while thinking about my dear old Dad (rest in peace), I remember a little trick he used to do with shaving cream: he'd take a small dollop and apply/smear it to the mirror before a shower to prevent any fog up. While he was away, I would just use it to give myself silly foam beards and bouffant hairdos.
But did you know shaving cream can also be used to clean up spills and stains on carpets or rugs? Neither did I, until a friend mentioned it to me this weekend. Just apply the foam onto the spot after wetting the spot thoroughly, then dab it off with a clean white towel or sponge. Don't know if Dad knew that one, but I'm sure he'd approve of the tip!

I remember the teacher in elementary school putting shaving cream on our desks and we could smear it around and then whipe it off and the desk would be clean!
Does this mean you can shave with foam carpet cleaner?
