These Japanese designed humidifiers look just like some Danish black planters we recently bought. And that's a good thing, considering that humidifiers typically don't remind us of anything except how dreadfully dry the air is. In addition to the hot colors here, this Fukasawa design comes in light blue, pink, brown and white.
Cost: $319, available through Generate Design.

Those are awesome, but for $320 a pop...they're WAY out of my range.
they look artsy and much more attractive than the humid. i have but they are much more expensive. are they electric? and how do they work really?
We live around our humidifiers and I'm actually thinking of putting this on the Christmas list. I try to hide my current ones because I am OCD when it comes to aesthetics.
Won't a couple of vases filled with water serve the same purpose in a much greener manner? Yet another reason to keep fresh flowers & foliage in the house.
"Quiltmaster" is completely correct! Put some vases filled with water in your window sills, or leave an in of water in the bathtub and you will naturally humidify your home. Another creative solution is putting vases or glasses of water on top of the radiator - heat and humidify in one step!
