If you have cats, you have probably been sent Simon's animation of how his cat wakes him up in the morning. Well, as if to prove the point that all cats enjoy this type of annoying wake-up call, a YouTube user set up a camera in his bedroom and recorded himself and his cat sleeping. At the 54 second mark of this time lapse video you'll see the culprit in action. It's pretty hilarious and a fun way to use the video camera laying around your house -- that is, if you're ok with showing the world your sleeping habits. After the jump a few of the real Simon's Cats animations...

GOD, these are funny. And SO SO true. My eldest cat will sit in the hall and HOWL if I haven't gotten up by 5:30 to feed them. THe youngest walks all over me and purrs as loud as she can.
oh man, thanks for these! i absolutely loved them all and totally needed a boost today - after last night's debates i've just been a sad cynical mess. these made me a lil bit happy though :)
Haha! These are great! I don't have a cat, but know of a few that act exactly like this.
When my cat was younger he would do this at night to my parents while they slept. after awhile they got tired of him waking them up and now my cat resides in the spare bedroom at night! Sometimes during my catnaps during the day my cat will claw gently on me head and I can hear him purring loudly to wake me up. :)
