If you need a short break from Small & Cool, check out Hunt Slonem's 15,000 square feet of space in Hell's Kitchen, recently featured in New York Magazine. An artist with an obsession for stuff, his space is full of surprises — an aviary, assorted antiques and an entire room devoted to Abraham Lincoln.
Primarily a painter, Hunt's knack for color and curating his collections is evident throughout the space. And he always brings something home from his frequent flea market visits. Think 15,000 square feet is a lot? Hunt recently downsized from 40,000 — in NYC! He gave away 27 sofas when he moved!
