Decor Craft Inc.'s I am not a paper cup..." does for disposable cups what Anya Hindmarch’s trendy “I am Not A Plastic Bag” design did for those pesky environmentally unfriendly bags. All the info below the cut...
Made of double walled porcelain cup with a silicone top so you can get to your morning brew with ease. The cup is dishwasher safe and $20 each, but not available until February. I'd love one of these for myself, but that's just one puny cup for any regular java fiend. Decor Craft, make us a bigger version for us coffee junkies!

Retarded. Why not just get one of those handy travel mugs?
I really like the design of these - they're like sippy cups for adults! However, they're really just another extraneous purchase masquerading as innovation. I doubt I'm the only person with a few perfectly serviceable travel mugs lying around.
And that plastic, non-recyclable packaging--these products, like Hindmarch's not-made-with-green-cotton-or-by-workers in-a-fair-trade-factory bag. These so-called eco-products completely miss the point.
I cant belive it, but i can. I had this idea a year ago, because of the "security blanket" of the gourmet coffee cup as an accessory. I didnt do anything about it and now someone beat me to it. Good for you! It's a novelty item, and it is an updated version of the outdoorsy travel mug.
*yawn* Honestly, I'd rather advertise my favorite independent coffee house with my travel mug than spend $20 for a "designed" version.
I had the same reaction as everyone here. If they weren't parading as being "environmentally conscious," it wouldn't bother me so much. Ugh. Plus, it seems a bit of a ripoff of those porcelain "We are happy to serve you" cups I've seen.
I know I'd forget that it wasn't Styrofoam and I'd just toss it in the trash.
If you're against using paper cups, why would you want your ceramic mug to look like one? That's like an animal rights advocate trying to pass a fake fur coat off as real. I don't get it.
spent $12 on a ceramic nyc coffee cup remake and never been happier!

I love porcelain and I think this is pretty. I think it's silly to call it anything other than a fanciful cup, but I would keep one in my office for my coffee!
Goody, now we get to have a socio-political motive for drinking from a mug. Wow.
I am not useful or pretty.
I'm sorry... but I kinda like. I think it looks cool. Too bad I'm not a coffee drinker.
unless that lid is a screw top and there's a tab you can pull back and hold into place so you can have a larger gulp (obviously not by looking at it), the lid on this porcelain model is even MORE obnoxious than its plastic counterpart. i hate those lids with a passion. why would i want a 'fake' one? argh! burn, "I Am Not a Paper Cup", burn!
