Dear readers, please allow me to geek out just this once. The lovely and talented Julian Casablancas, lead singer of The Strokes, champion of my heart, has just released his first solo album entitled Phrazes for the Young.

their first album was quite good. as well as albert hammond jr's first solo. i will give this one a shot.
my daughter loved/loves julian casablancas so much so that she named her first car after him (and that was nine years ago).

Nice. Always love it when people go futuristic, but futuristic via how they thought the future would look like in 1972. I wish I could say I liked Phrazes...it's kind of letdown. Not a letdown: the bright orange sex triangle in the second picture.
