Ornaments for the Christmas tree may be packed away but that doesn't have to mean the end for tree ornaments all together. In my house we have a surplus of nature's bounty - acorns, dried leaves, leaves and berries. That together with the cold weather means we can start on this project right away.

I assume that the strings are frozen into the ornament along with the leaves and such?
