ICFF 2007: Talkin' Italian

ICFF 2007: Talkin' Italian

Never shrinking violets, the Italian section had a lot to say at ICFF, and it was all very flirty, happy, and sensual.

Missoni Home showed off their trademark color- and pattern-celebrating seating (including this year's mini-trend, beanbags), pillows, textiles, and lighting. We don't know if these retro-patterned pieces are new but they were new to us, as Missoni Home is pretty hard to find in the US.

The Italian design house's presence at ICFF could mean that they are seeking more US distribution. Following the color vein, we snapped some pictures of the sensual persimmon velvet sofa, also in the Italian section, only to look up and notice its even sexier black velvet cousin waiting in the wings.

We seem to have lost the name of the purveyor. Anyone care to call it?
