Seattle-based Urbancase featured their Petal Credenza at ICFF this year. Available in FSC-certified white oak with either natural dark or white stain, what really stood out was the cast resin doors. And Urbancase doesn't just design tables and credenzas...

Their Vine Wallpaper was lovely.
While the power was out in the booth at the time of our visit, the paper-shaded Vine Lamp can be seen lit on their website.

Ears?
Rose Petals
A skin disease?
Y'all are being ridiculous!
It's obviously flattened packing peanuts, finally realized as the design focal point they really are.
Used chewing gum
Okay i'm not LOVING the ears/peanuts/etc.
But i keep seeing these wood grain/white peices and i'm thisclose to painting the doors on my credenza white as i realized i have stupid taste and bought all dark (nearly black) furniture.

It won't turn out the way you want it to since the piece you have has overlay doors - you need inset doors to make this look work.
i think that crezenda would be super easy to hack. you can find old 50s pieces similar to that in thrift shops. strip, paint, use inhabitat's wall flats on the doors. voila.
