2008-ICFF-OHD.jpg What do you think of the Spring 2008 collection by Lawson-Fenning for Nurseryworks? We were slightly surprised by the traditional vibe on items like this Empire Rocker. It's more than a subtle departure from the clean, modern lines of the Sleepytime Rocker.

Other items included this Vale Headboard. Quite lovely, it comes in microsuede, twill, or velvet in a range of colors from mocha and slate to citrus or rosette (pictured here).

The Harvard Headboard has spindles on either side.

And don't forget the Spindle Crib where those same spindles reappear.

Richer textures and colors make this line compatible with a home furnished by Anthropologie or Brocade Home. Are these pioneers of modern nursery design paving the way for even more variety in modern nursery decor? What do you guys think? Are you feeling it?
