It was a thrill to experience Patricia Urquiola's Axor Urquiola collection in person at ICFF! This remarkably unique collection aims to redefine the modern bathroom — it encourages the use of your own existing furniture and fixtures integrated with the Axor high-end hardware. With over 80 pieces in the collection, a personalized, custom bathroom is entirely possible.
Patricia Urquiola walked me through the collection and emphasized her goal of making individualized hardware designs that are truly adaptable to many homeowners — sinks that can be vessels or wall-mounted, faucets and hardware that is freestanding, wall-mounted or even counter-mounted. In fact, this is the first collection of Axor's to include a sink (3!) and tub design.

The fixture in the first photo is a nice idea but, the thought of someone possibly touching my toothbrush BEFORE they wash their hands AFTER they use the toilet would freak me out.
