Powermats are one of the best inventions to date (we personally think so, anyway). It's pretty wonderful to be able to charge a device without having to have the exact charging cord that it came with. It's not that we misplace the cords, sometimes there's just not enough outlets, or on vacation we share cords.
We've talked about the Idapt before, but they recently released the i4 (no, not the highway in Orlando). Apparently it's supposed to charge over 4,000 devices &mdash four at a time.
Essentially you name it, the Idapt i4 charges it. Including devices such as the iPhone, iPod, Blackberry, Nintendo DS, PSP, PS3 controller, GPS systems, digital cameras, and Bluetooth products, all with the help of interchangeable tips that can be popped in and out of slots on the base. There are three slots that can be changed and one stationary USB port. We're pretty psyched on the USB port because there are countless devices that can be charged via USB!
Idapt i4 has LED lights that indicate when a device is fully charged, so you can then unplug it. Also, you can turn the Idapt completely off when you're not using it.
The Idapt i4 will be available in May and comes in shiny black or shiny white for $60.
