Q: I love the fabric used for the curtains (larger photo below) in the girl's bedroom on the TV show Modern Family. Does anyone recognize this fabric? The background is white and it looks like there are gold, black, and blue/grey abstract flowers. Any help is appreciated!

Ikea had this fabric, not sure if they still do though.
Not exactly the same, but the other day I bought some table clothes from Target that was pretty similar (I intend to make them into drapes).

Set designers always go to affordable sources like Target or Ikea, but I haven't seen these at either place or site before. Also checked Walmart and Bed Bath & Beyond. Sometimes designers work with companies for things like wallpaper and tapestries, so that may have been the case, or the item got discontinued at whatever store. Hard to find out with LA's so many interior sources!

hah, that's kind of funny...i work as a commercial interior designer at an architecture firm and we were just discussing the pillows on cam and mitchell's sofa. we happen to have the fabric (the pillow fabric, not the curtain fabric) in our architectural library!
yul -- they ARE abstract flower designs. Look near the top of the photo, a few are pretty plain.
World Market has a similar curtain panel.
